Warning: This board is for mature adults only! It contains nudity, coarse language, and topics of a sexual nature. If you are easily offended by this type of content, we recommend you do not continue to read our message board. Instead you can get Big Brother updates from our blog. If you are old enough to handle our mature subject matter, you may proceed accordingly.

Most things that you shouldn't do are obvious. If you are unsure about something, refer to the list below (or contact a staff member for clarification.)

SpammingYou may not make posts consisting of:
  • unapproved advertisements
  • unapproved Big Brother games
  • one word answers (text or simply an emoticon)
  • other irrelevant messages to boost your post count
The above types of posts or private messages are all considered to be SPAM. You also may not make posts written entirely in capital letters.
A staff member may decide to edit out the content.

A staff member may also decide to give you a warning or infraction.

FlamingYou may not post personal attacks on:
  • other forum members
  • other websites
  • countries
  • a person's sex, race or religion
as well as anything else deemed (by the staff) to be trolling, offensive, libelous, or slanderous. All of the above is considered to be flaming. Individuals who are former reality show contestants who join the BBQ will be treated with the same respect due to any forum member. Any past behavior featured on their show may be subject to comment in a polite connotation.
The flame that you posted may be edited out by staff.

Copyright/CreditYou may not re-post content (in its entirety) from other websites. Instead, please post the title, a short excerpt, and a link to that content on the other site, always giving credit to the author. You may paraphrase content from another source, but again, always give full credit to the author. In addition, nothing on this forum may be reproduced, in whole or in part, without written permission from the author. A staff member may remove the content which violates the copyright & credit rule.

Staff ComplaintsYou may not make complaints about the staff on the public forums. If you feel you were unfairly dealt with, you may appeal your case by sending ONE private message or e-mail to an administrator. Comments and concerns about moderators & moderation are taken seriously, and will be acted upon, but are NOT subject to public discussion. Staff complaints on the public forum will promptly be deleted.

ModerationYou may not "backseat" moderate. If you spot a post that breaks our rules, click the "REPORT" button on the respective post. The post will then be sent to our moderators to review. Please do NOT correct the member yourself. You may not repeatedly/continuously report the same post.

If you cannot resolve your issues with a certain member, please use the ignore feature (available in your user control panel.)

Posts which, at the discretion of the staff, contain "backseat" moderating will be removed. Both "backseat" moderating, and continuous reporting of ONE post may result in staff giving you a warning or infraction.
Multiple AccountsYou may not create multiple accounts to avoid moderated status/suspension/or banning. One user account is permitted per person.Users found to have more than one account will be banned.
Nudes Section / Sexual TalkWe are not a porn site. Please do not request any nudes unless you are aware they have happened. Sexual chatter will not be tolerated.A staff member may remove any X rated posts at any time. Staff may also issue an infraction or ban.
Off Topic Posts/Thread HijackingUnless the thread evolves into another topic, you may not come in and change the topic. A staff member may remove the content which violates the rule.

Reputation SystemAll forum rules still apply in the reputation system. You may not personally attack members. A staff member may remove the content which violates the rule.

Avatars/SignaturesYou may not have an avatar which contains inartistic nudity, profanity, or gory violence. The maximum avatar size is 100x100. Links in signatures are not permitted unless they link to something on the RealityBBQ forums.

A staff member may edit/remove your avatar/signature if it violates the rule. You may lose avatar or signature privileges if you repeatedly violate the rule.

Lastly, please be aware of internet safety and never under any circumstances give out your, or anyone else's, personal information. That includes, but is not limited to: real name, address, phone number, photo, email address, or other identifying information. This does include cast/staff of reality shows.
